February knitting booksValentine’s Day is coming up. So tell whoever is crazy in love with you that you need a few more knitting books to enrich your stash. (Yeah, I know one of the books below comes out AFTER V-Day. But you know he’s gonna forget the flowers. Let him make it up to you with a glossy new knitting book … and a gift certificate for some yarn … a few days later.)

The_Knitting_CircleSquee! Another knitting novel hits the bookshelves today. I’m excited even though the theme of this book is sobering. Let’s show some support for author Ann Hood, whose paperback edition of The Knitting Circle: A Novel - a book about grief and a circle of friends - is now available.

[Disclaimer: Nope, I don't get a dime. Haven't read the book and don't know the author. Just sounds like an interesting book.]
